Spinnaker Microwave offers a series of BroadBand
Microwave Oscillators that use silicon transistors and
varactor diodes for best noise and Post Tuning Drift (PTD)
performance. These oscillators exhibit excellent linearity, low
modulation sensitivity, and low thermal drift with temperature. Most
Broadband oscillators are amplifier buffered, providing at least 20
dB of load isolation thus reducing the effects of load pulling and
eliminating the possibility of frequency dropouts and recursions
(characteristics of unbuffered oscillators).
All models
listed below can be constructed in a connectorized module (package
type D) utilizing an internal heating element less than 7 W at
-40 deg C). This will significantly reduce frequency drift due to
temperature variations.
